November Trip to India

Dave, Alex, and Dallas have been invited to Andra Pradesh, India to explore opportunities and meet with an organization that may be partnering with us on future projects.  This organization is actively involved in numerous humanitarian efforts throughout India, ranging from work in red light districts to overseeing leprosy colonies.  Dave and Alex recently made a trip to Sacramento to meet with the  organization's CEO during one of his visits to the United States.  He has personally invited us as his guests to see all their work and potential projects.  Among the many opportunities is the possibility of a women's educational facility (for more info, read below).  We are planning on leaving around the 17th of November and will be returning the 26th.  Throughout this trip we will be gathering pictures and video and defining the project details.

We are currently in need of funding for this trip.  If you are interested in helping us in any way, please see our fundraising page Here.  As always, thank you for partnering with us- your gift enables us to help the lives of so many hurting people- we couldn't do it without you!

Women's Educational Facility

Over the last few years, the fight against human trafficking has become a popular cause.  With its increased awareness here in the United States and around the world, there have been many organizations joining the fight.  We are so thankful for this!  However, we are seeing an alarming trend that places the focus solely on the rescue of girls.  Statistics and stories sound great and help bring in needed funds for their work, but many neglect the larger and more difficult task of caring for these women on a long term basis.  This is necessary to ensure their successful reintegration into society.  Without this crucial second step, many are only provided care for a few weeks then released back to the streets where the expectation is to find a new way of life.  Most of these girls, uneducated and untrained, will eventually return to a brothel simply because it is the only way to get a meal and a roof over their head.

Kingdom Investments International and Ransom Wear have set a goal to open a large educational facility with dorms that can hold up to 1,000 girls.  This will provide long term housing, education, medical care, counseling and job training.  By partnering with other "rescue organizations", girls will now have an option for continued care.  This facility will be operated by locals who not only have a heart for this venture, but also a better understanding of the culture and needs.

This facility would include everything you would expect to find in a college anywhere in the world.  To do this we may have to start from the beginning and purchase or build the classrooms, dormitories, cafeterias, in short - everything!  Classrooms will have to be furnished, curriculum acquired (in some instances developed) and we will have to hire local instructors and support staff.

Thousands of rescued girls in southeast Asia have need of  continued support and basic education and the support system that can take them to full literacy and advanced training in vocational fields, professional studies, business,  entreprenurial endeavors, and wherever their dreams might take them. They will need financial education and life skills.  The list goes on and on!

Beyond the educational elements there must be reintegration programs in place that help them to implement their dreams.  For this, we will need a job placement agency to assist in entering the national work force.  For those whose dreams will take them to business ownership, we need mentorships and micro-loans. They will want access to world-wide marketing.

We cannot do this alone!  Kingdom Investments International is known for doing a lot with a little.  And in these difficult times we will make "little" go further than ever!   For a year long commitment of just $8 per month, you can join many others as we take on this task.  For around the price of one fast-food meal per month, you can help change the lives of many girls.  Get in on the ground level of this new project!  With your commitment to monthly support, as well as sharing this project with your friends, we can begin to make this goal become a reality today!

Scholarship Fund

Kingdom Investments International (KII) is working to develop a fund that will provide educational grants, loans and scholarships. This is to send promising youth and young adults who have a vision for their community to a place where they can obtain the education, skills and experience necessary to impliment their visions.

Community Revitalization Project:

KII is developing a program to promote community revitalization.  The vision is to transform impoverished regions into safe, economically vibrant, educated communities where whole villages benefit and are expected to become involved in a process designed to revitalize their entire area.  Individualized three year plans for targeted communities will implement educational, economic and infrastructural reforms. KII intends to accomplish this by partnering with and coordinating the efforts of organizations with established expertise in areas such as medical services, well drilling, sanitation, building schools, etc.

The program includes infrastructure, education and economic components.

Infrastructure components will prioritize sanitation, potable water (well drilling and public access to fresh water) and medical services. Next in priority is building or rebuilding community centers and schools.

Educational components are designed to enhance literacy and especially entrepreneurial empowerment.  This process starts with basic literacy and introductory business skills.  it will be followed by business development and management training and on-going mentoring.

.

The economic component goes beyond the business training and mentoring.  Our goal of creating self-sustainable local economies necessitates investments (micro-loans) in business ventures owned and operated by local residents with an emphasis on encouraging economic relationships between other villages within a 20 mile radius and then providing access to the global market through systems such as foreign distribution partnerships and web based marketing.
